Our Response to Covid-19

To everyone who is involved in English Education

The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting every one of us. At English Book Education, we are people first, and we do what we do with the belief that proper education can change lives. Education can change lives. We are responding and adapting to these difficult times by, developing remote lessons accessible to all, thereby helping individuals and communities keep in touch and merge stronger when the crises passes.

Teachers are innovating to make remote lessons come alive. Companies are experimenting with new ways to stay productive. And medical experts can diagnose illnesses and reach millions with critical updates in the blink of an eye. We are adapting and responding in our own way, and English Book Education wants to continue to play a role in helping individuals and communities emerge stronger.

English Education for Teachers, Parents and Learners all over Georgia

For the past couple of weeks, we have been working on an action plan with international publishers. This plan includes the following:

  1. How we can support teachers all over Georgia;

  2. How we can support parents at home;

  3. Help the learners finish this semester.

At English Book Education, we've come up with a strategy that will help motivate both our teachers and learners to continue with their developments.

Furthermore, we have been in close contact with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia to record online classes (run by the native speaker teachers) that will be available for whole of Georgia via 'Education Channel'

Online Seminars

English Book Education has started to run online seminars on various themes that might be of an interest to the public and we have seen a tremendous demand to attend our online seminars that run on Wednesday and Friday at 16:00 pm (Georgian Time) and will continue to run as they support learning community.

Looking in the Future

Finally, we are mobilising across the company to address the technical issues that teachers, students, parents or schools might face. Our sales, marketing, CPD, exams and King's and Queen's team's are working tirelessly.

One truth that brings us comfort is just the hope that together we can make a difference. Each of us, wherever we are, has the opportunity to do the same. Take an action, a small step that makes things a bit better. And if everyone does something that makes Georgia a bit better, our collaborative work will in fact make Georgia a lot better, for the people we love, for our communities, for society.
